2. Terms of Sale
These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions on the E-Collars UK website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms without prior notice. Any changes will apply only to orders placed after the updated Terms are published.
3. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information including your name, address, telephone number, and email address to process orders and provide delivery updates. We share your contact details only with courier services and Trustpilot for review requests. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties beyond these purposes.
4. Ordering and Delivery
You must be over 18 years of age to place an order.
All products are subject to availability.
Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Monday–Friday) are typically dispatched the next working day, although delays outside of our control may occur.
If delivery is not made within 28 days of the expected delivery date, you will be notified and offered the option to cancel the order for a full refund.
Your payment card will be charged prior to dispatch in order to secure the order and carry out fraud prevention checks.
5. Shipping
Please see the shipping policy for shippings terms
https://ecollarsuk.com/policies/shipping-policy
6. Pricing
Prices are those displayed at the time your order is received, inclusive of VAT where applicable, plus shipping costs. We reserve the right to cancel orders where pricing errors have occurred.
7. Payment
Payment is processed securely via our payment service providers. While we take reasonable steps to protect your payment data, we are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access unless caused by our negligence.
8. Cancellations and Money-Back Guarantee
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
To cancel, you must notify us by email at ecollarsuk@gmail.com with your order details. Returned goods must be unused, unopened, and in a resalable condition.
9. Returns and Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 14 calendar days of receipt for a full refund, provided items are unopened and in their original condition, including original labels attached.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service.
Opened or used items, or items where original labels have been removed, cannot be returned unless confirmed as faulty.
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, electronic training collars, muzzles, goggles, and ear protection are non-returnable once opened, used, or inspected, as these items cannot be resold.
Exchanges require placing a new order via the website.
10. Use of Electronic Collars and Compliance with UK Law
E-Collars UK operates as an English business and complies with all applicable UK laws. Electronic training collars are legal products; however, their use is subject to different regulations across the UK:
England: Electronic collars are legal to sell and use.
Wales: The Animal Welfare (Electronic Training Collars) (Wales) Regulations 2022 restrict their use. Customers in Wales are responsible for complying with Welsh law.
Scotland: The Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006 and related regulations restrict certain electronic collars. Customers must ensure compliance.
E-Collars UK is not responsible for the use or misuse of products after lawful sale. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations.
11. Faulty Items
Faults must be reported within 14 days of receipt.
Faulty items must be returned with all original packaging and accessories. Once a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
Items returned and found not to be faulty will be returned to the customer at their expense.
12. Warranty Repairs
Repairs under manufacturer warranties beyond 28 days are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Customers are advised to contact the manufacturer directly unless otherwise stated.
13. Chargebacks, Bank-Led Refunds & Payment Disputes
If a customer initiates a chargeback, card dispute, or payment reversal through their bank or card issuer, the matter becomes a bank-controlled process. Once a chargeback is raised, E-Collars UK is unable to issue a standard refund while the dispute is ongoing.
Where a chargeback is accepted or decided in the customer’s favour, the disputed funds are returned directly to the customer by their bank or card issuer. This is not a refund issued by E-Collars UK. The funds are permanently removed from our account, and a chargeback fee may be applied to us by the payment processor.
Chargeback refunds may not appear on bank statements as a standard “refund” and may instead appear as a charge reversal, dispute credit, adjustment, or removal of the original transaction. The timing, reference, and presentation of such credits are controlled entirely by the customer’s bank or card issuer.
Once a chargeback has been completed and the funds returned by the bank, the transaction is considered closed. E-Collars UK will not issue any additional refund, replacement, store credit, compensation, or goodwill gesture in relation to the same order.
Any queries regarding the status, timing, or visibility of a chargeback refund must be directed to the customer’s bank or card issuer.
Nothing in this clause affects the customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. However, where a chargeback has been completed and funds returned by the bank, E-Collars UK’s obligations in respect of that payment are fulfilled.
14. Delivery Delays
While we aim to deliver promptly, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
16. Data Protection
We comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. You may contact us to request details of the personal data we hold about you.
17. Complaints
Please direct all complaints to ecollarsuk@gmail.com. We take complaints seriously and aim to resolve all issues promptly and fairly.
